¶ PNCPro
The PNCPro parts are Aluminium parts designed as an upgrade to the 3d-printed parts on your PrintNC. Making them will require a reasonable level of experience. It's a kind of project where builders can flex their CAD and CAM skills.
These parts are work in progress. Please carefully check parameters and measurements before cutting to ensure they correctly fit your machine
Stock thickness
This part is designed to use 25mm (1") thick stock for the base and 12mm (½") thick stock for the riser plate and the motor mount (other variations may work) it is designed that you set the exact thickness of your stock and the parts adjust themselves to provide the correct heights and spacing. You do not need to face your stock to the set dimensions, the entire assembly is created using pockets and contours.
Stock width
The mount base for BK12 end support is 64mm wide (2.5 inch wide stock). If you are using BK15 end supports the base is 74mm wide (order 3" wide stock).
Stock length
The length of the base is 100mm (3.94"), the motor mount is 87mm tall (3.42"), the riser is 40mm (1.57"). So for each assembled mount you will need 100mm (4") of 25mm thick stock and about 140mm (5.5") of 12mm (½") stock.

Y Roller/Riser
This is a replacement for the box section Y rollers it is design to use 25mm/1" stock or similar, there is a adjustable height parameter that can increase Z clearance and allow a L shaped dust cover to shield the ball screw and linear rail
Double bearing block Y Roller
This replaces stock Y rollers, grabs the gantry by it's sides and has two bearing blocks for additional rigidity. Model allows for 120x60, 100x50, 75x50 gantries.
